A Pause for those who care deeply

When the world feels heavy, it’s easy to forget that rest and reflection are an integral part of changework.

In collaboration with

&

we invite you to a weekend to pause — to refill our wells, remember our why, and reconnect with the deeper current that sustains us.

Together, in the stillness of the Swiss mountains, we’ll slow down, breathe, and remember what it means to be resourced — in community, creativity, and care for each other.

Why “Re•Source”?

Because our strength is renewable, but only if we tend to it.

Let the mountain waters and ancestral wisdom remind you that regeneration begins within and extends outward from that place, to our movements and the world we’re shaping.

Between individual and collective reflections and creative processes, we’ll visit the bisses, the ancient communal water channels that inspired Elinor Ostrom’s Nobel-winning work on the commons, as a living metaphor and inspiration for how we collectively care for what sustains all of us.

It’s not just about overcoming the tragedy of the commons, it’s also about finding ways to care for ourselves and our communities. Because we cannot self-exploit our way to a more regenerative future.

What to expect

This is not a luxury retreat. It’s a heartfelt gathering of changeworkers, creatives, and caretakers of the world — people who know that doing the work also means tending to the one doing it.

You’ll experience:

🌿 Gentle structure balanced with spaciousness
🎨 Guided reflections and creative practices
🔥 Nourishing vegan meals and dialogue circles
🚶 Nature walks and time in stillness
🎶 Music, movement, and meaningful connection

The flow

Friday

Arriving

Arrival, shared meal, and first circle, including a creative practice - naming what we carry and what connects us.

Saturday

Replenishing & Reimagining

Optional morning practices, a yummy brunch, and a walk along the bisses.
Time for reflection, journaling, and art-making as we explore the seeds to which we wish to tend - personally and collectively.  (Re-)connecting to our strengths and vision. Evening celebration around the fire. (or in the jacuzzi!)

Sunday

Integrating & Going Forth

Slow morning, optional morning practices, shared brunch, and closing circle. We’ll harvest what we’ve learned, offer gratitude, and anchor what we want to carry forward. As we close around 2pm, you still have the opportunity to go for a walk or hike, should you wish to enjoy the mountain panorama a bit longer.

You’ll leave feeling nourished, inspired, and reconnected — to yourself, to others, and to the larger flow of life.

"Even those of us who take for granted a constant supply of water piped into our homes nevertheless understand the value of a good well. It's in our folk memory, an archetypal image in our collective unconscious. A good well will never run dry; you can always depend on it. And water is the source of life. But the source of life, like all things, must be cared for; a good well must be tended."
