Volunteer roles
For the first time since launching Parayma, we are officially opening a call for volunteers!
We regularly have people reaching out, asking if they could volunteer with us, and a few very fruitful collaborations have led us to make this opportunity officially accessible to all interested.
We are currently explicitly seeking four different types of volunteers:
Short-form video content volunteer:
Someone with a passion for short-form videos (think reels, Youtube shorts, etc) and is keen to support us in doing more with the material we have
Fundraising volunteer
Money fairies and fundraising wizards, welcome! we are looking to build out our fundraising database and an infrastructure to support our fellows
Research volunteer
If you have a knack for finding the answers you're looking for, love structuring information and sense-making, we'd love to have you with us to support research
Well-being & creativity volunteer
Staying grounded, engaged and well-resourced is essential if we want to keep doing our changework over time. If you're passionate about mental health, burnout prevention or related fields, we'd love to hear from you

“I came across Parayma's impactful work through a Systems Change workshop. At that time, I had just embarked on a professional transition and was seeking to continue making a contribution through voluntary work. Nora's openness to exploring how this could take shape, based on my skillset and planned career evolution as well as the organisation's needs and priorities, allowed us to quickly establish a framework for online volunteering.
I was happy to support Parayma's people practices through my Human Resources background, e.g. my work touched upon aspects of onboarding, offboarding, and team culture. And, I gained exposure to Systems Change work by conducting research for ongoing and planned activities.
My volunteering experience was positive in more ways than one. It not only fostered mutual learning and exchange, but created the space to contribute beyond time zones and geographies towards a common vision. My gratitude to Nora and the Parayma team for welcoming me and for their collaboration!”
