Press Release:
Redefining purpose for changeworkers: Nora Wilhelm launches Purpose 101 workshop and the Changework Compass program through Parayma
In a time when the word purpose is everywhere yet often reduced to generic advice, social innovator Nora Wilhelm offers a deeper, systems-informed approach. Through her new initiative Parayma, she invites changeworkers, social entrepreneurs, and aspiring systems change leaders to explore purpose as a bridge between inner well-being and outer transformation.
“Most purpose frameworks were not built for people already trying to change the world,” says Wilhelm. “If you know you want to contribute, the question is no longer whether. It is how. What is yours to do, and how do you sustain it without burning out?”
Parayma begins with two flagship offerings:
- Find your Purpose 101: a free, two-hour interactive online workshop. Participants will explore why most ‘find your purpose’ models fall short, and how systems tools like the SEED framework and ecosystem mapping can uncover their unique role. The session will be held live on September 10 and will remain available afterward as a self-paced workshop with replay access.
- The Changework Compass: a 10-week group program guiding participants step by step through clarifying their unique contribution. The program combines self-awareness, visioning, systems tools, and community. It is designed to bring clarity and resilience while protecting well-being.
Wilhelm has spent more than 15 years leading and mentoring changework, 9 of which in systems change. She co-founded collaboratio helvetica and then created the well • change atelier, a sanctuary for changemakers to tend to their inner world through creative, art-based practices. She has been recognised internationally by Forbes 30 Under 30 and UNESCO.
“I’ve seen many changeworkers burn out before their contribution could fully bloom,” she says. “Purpose is not just about direction. It is what helps us stay rooted and keep showing up for the long haul.”
With Parayma, Wilhelm hopes to seed a wider movement where changeworkers don’t just survive their calling. They thrive in it, contributing to paradigm shifts from a place of alignment and regeneration. This vision is already alive in Parayma’s campaign #MyPieceForChange, which highlights the unique contributions of changeworkers across the world and reminds us that each of us holds a piece of the puzzle. By bringing together systems change strategy and deep care for the people driving it, Parayma offers one of the first initiatives of its kind.
Biography
Nora Wilhelm is a social entrepreneur and systems change advocate dedicated to fostering paradigm shifts towards a regenerative and just future. Through Parayma, she supports changeworkers in bringing their unique contribution to shifting paradigms: offering mentorship, grounded guidance, and practical tools rooted in lived experience.
She is also the founder of the well • change atelier, where she supports the givers of this world through creative, art-based approaches that foster connection, resilience, and renewal.
Her changemaking journey began at the age of 15 and led to the co-founding of collaboratio helvetica in 2017, an initiative designed to catalyse systems change in Switzerland in alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
With a BA in International Affairs from the University of St. Gallen and an MSt in Social Innovation from the University of Cambridge, Nora bridges academic research with lived experience and hands-on support in systems change. Named a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, a UNESCO Young Leader and a Dalai Lama Fellow, she shares her insights on global stages while remaining grounded in the belief that meaningful change is a collective endeavor. She continues to support individuals and organisations in reimagining how we live, lead, and care for the world and for ourselves.
