Slow down. Root deeper. Grow together.

The work of change asks everything of us - our care, our courage, our creativity.
We hold space for others. We navigate complexity. We keep showing up.

And yet, even as we nurture systems, movements, and communities, it’s easy to lose touch with what sustains us.

The Meadow is a gathering place for those who walk the path of changework - a space to reconnect, reflect, and replenish.

A place to keep your work, and your wellbeing, rooted in what truly matters.

Why The Meadow

If you’ve been part of the Changework Compass, the Rootwork Academy or the Harvest Lab, you know that changework is not just professional - it’s deeply personal. You’ve seen how much energy and clarity it takes to hold complexity and create real change.

And maybe you’ve noticed that:

  • You miss the connection and reflection that came from learning together.
  • You want to keep deepening your changework and systems change practice - but not alone.
  • You long for a space to pause, breathe, and remember why you do this work.
  • You want to stay connected to others walking this same, often tender, path.

The Meadow was created for that. For you.

For the in-between seasons - when you’re maybe not in a programme, but still in the work.

It’s a place to keep your roots nourished, your vision alive, and your community close.

“I feel heartfelt gratitude towards Nora, who showed up as an seemingly endless source of care, commitment, energy and clarity. Nora so wonderfully opened a space for dreaming, hope, creativity, questioning and complexity. A truly empowering experience within a truly powerful community that Nora is weaving together.”

Jakob Filzen, Social Psychologist

A name with roots

The Meadow takes its name, in part, from the late Donella Meadows - systems thinker, writer, and one of the great teachers of interconnectedness.

Her work reminds us that real change grows from the ground up: through relationships, reflection, and renewal. She was one of the co-authors of the seminal report called Limits to Growth in 1972, and a pioneer of the field of systems change who keeps inspiring me and many others to this day.

In that spirit, The Meadow is a living ecosystem: a place where ideas, people, and change itself can cross-pollinate

What’s inside

arrow

1. A living community

An online home for Parayma alumni: a place to stay connected, share updates, ask questions, and exchange ideas in a gentle, intentional space. As it’s a private community open only to alumni of our programmes and offerings, we share some common ground and culture that we can build on.

2. Bi-weekly Office Hours

Every other week, Nora will be online to answer your questions, offer feedback on your ideas or ecosystem maps, and generally support you in any way she can.

3. Monthly live connection calls

Bring your current challenges, insights, or questions. Each session is an opportunity to reflect, learn, and reconnect with others. We’ll answer questions and also dive into different people’s work and process (also called ‘hot seat coaching’, but we’ll do it in our own, gentle and supportive way).

4. Weekly coworking calls

Did you know it is much easier to get stuff done when someone is there with you? It’s a research-backed ADHD strategy, but it works for everyone. Every week, Nora will be online with some lofi, typing away - a space where you can come in and do the work you’ve been putting off. No talking, no distractions, creating the conditions for flow state.

5. Quarterly workshops

Deep-dive sessions into Parayma’s tools and frameworks - like the Iceberg Model, Ecosystem Mapping, or working with paradigms - blending reflection, strategy, and practice. If the workshop is open, it will be on a sliding scale, but members get free access. As a community member, you’ll also have the opportunity to co-create workshops with us!

6. Early access to new offerings

Be the first to hear about upcoming retreats, programmes, and experiments within Parayma, and receive priority registration for limited spots.

7. Seasonal rhythm

We honour the natural cycles of pause and renewal. The Meadow rests mid-winter (for all of us to dive deep within) and mid-summer (for all of us to enjoy going fully outward in high Summer), while remaining open for quiet connection and reflection. You will receive seasonal guidance and journaling questions to support cyclical living and working.

What The Meadow isn’t

It’s not another noisy platform, or a space to keep “performing.” It’s not about more to do’s - it’s about supporting you in living into who you want to be, and what you want to contribute to the world.

A community built for reflection and evolution, offering a respite from overwhelm and knee-jerk reactions.

Who it’s for

Right now, The Meadow is open exclusively to alumni of our programmes, beginning with The Changework Compass, Rootwork Academy and Harvest Lab.

It’s for those who want to:

  • Stay connected to a like-minded community of changeworkers.
  • Continue integrating paradigm shift practices into their work and life.
  • Keep learning, growing, and being supported beyond the course container.
  • Stay close to Parayma’s evolving ecosystem.

If you’ve ever wished you could keep Nora on speed dial to ask her any questions you hold or about challenges you encounter as you walk this path, this is your opportunity!

“Maybe the most valuable part of all has been the community of changeworkers. People walking their own paths, who’ve offered nothing but support and understanding. My favorite parts of the experience were exactly that: the community, the deep and honest conversations, and the feeling of having a guided path, even into an uncertain future.

Where we see this going

The Meadow is a place to replenish your energy, find connection and rekindle inspiration. It’s also a space to support learning, evolution and moving to implementation (from theory to practice), all in service of your journey as a changeworker.

Over time, we imagine The Meadow to become a real hub for collective action and intelligence. Collaborations emerge. Funding is allocated participatively to ideas that will support our collective. We build a sense of the commons, and care for it together. We see ourselves as a movement for systems change, and act accordingly. As a Founding Circle member, beyond your individual benefits, this is what you are invited to co-create.

Membership Rhythm

We gather for 9 months each year, with natural pauses from December to January and mid-July to mid-August. These pauses are intentional - time to rest, reflect, and return renewed. You will receive journaling prompts and practices that we recommend for both of these periods.
