Why this workshop

Every changeworker, organisation, or initiative exists within a larger ecosystem - a web of relationships, actors, forces, and patterns that shape what’s possible.

When we fail to see this bigger picture, we can waste energy, duplicate efforts, or push against invisible barriers. But when we map our ecosystem, we begin to see leverage points, synergies, and new possibilities for collaboration.

Ecosystem Mapping 101 will help you shift from feeling stuck in complexity to seeing the patterns that keep the issue in place, and the intervention points that could bring about real change.

Whether you’re building a new initiative, leading a project, or exploring your next step as a changeworker, this 90-minute session will show you how to see the system you’re part of - and act more strategically within it.

Inside the workshop you’ll learn:

  • Why ecosystem mapping is an essential step for any changeworker who wants to shift paradigms
  • The importance of anchoring your cause and defining system boundaries to be able to do systems work
  • How to identify the key stakeholders in your ecosystem and map their proximity, relationships, interactions to better understand the dynamics
  • What other key factors to look out for in a mapping process, including the Rules that govern the system and the Resources that go into it, and how they are allocated
  • The step by step process of mapping your ecosystem to see results
  • How to leverage your ecosystem map to engage your stakeholders, communicate your strategy, and raise funding
  • And more

Because the solution to real change isn’t working harder, longer, or putting the burden of change entirely on your shoulders.

We need to work towards changing the systems that perpetuate the social and economic problems we face, and this starts with more of us learning to think and act systematically. Ecosystem mapping is an essential step to be able to do so.

Join this free workshop and, in just 1.5 hours, learn not only why ecosystem mapping is valuable, but also how to do it.

Together, we’ll map your ecosystem - I’ll guide you step by step in doing so, and identifying possible leverage points. This will be a helpful starting point for your next steps. Whether that’s a stronger and more systemic understanding of the challenge you’re working on addressing, new strategy ideas to move the needle, or which stakeholders to focus on reaching.

If you miss it, you’ll be able to access the replay within a few days of the live session.

Here’s the thing:

There are no easy answers, cookie-cutter ‘solutions’ or silver ‘bullets’. But there are tools that help, and ecosystem mapping is one of them.

Nora, Parayma founder, sits in a chair with her legs crossed and one hand rests on her face. The Parayma logo is reorganized into hearts up to the right, down to the left is a squiggly arrow pointing down.

I’m Nora, your workshop host

Founder of Parayma, the well change atelier, and collaboratio helvetica, and mentor for changeworkers who want to work with, and learn from, someone who understands the unique struggles of this work.

Since 2010, after I awoke to the state of the world, I’ve dedicated my life and career towards shifting paradigms for a more just, regenerative, and beautiful future for everyone. After working in the field for so long, I realised I needed to deepen and expand my contribution and I couldn’t do that by just working longer hours.

So I've started a path of learning from experts, taking courses, reading books, and putting all of that into practice in my systems change work in Switzerland. Today, 8 years later, I've started my path of mentorship, giving people like you the same tools and learnings I wish I had when I started, so you can do both the inner and outer work to become a more fulfilled and impactful changeworker.

When I’m not working, I do enjoy creating art, walks with my dog, and getting lost in a fantasy novel too but that’s a story for another day! Looking forward to connecting with you.

If you’re a changeworker or aspiring systems change leader
